Please Donate to the Student Victim Fund

Teachers are assaulting students at record numbers. Many of these convicted teachers are either sentenced to No Jail time or very little jail time. Even Teachers merely accused of sexual assault are retaining their positions.

Mission of the Student Victim Fund

Unfortunately, there is no legal requirement for schools or courts to help the students that were victimized. Oftentimes, students who were traumatized or victimized must hire expensive attorneys or either just settle for being a victim.

The mission of this fund is to raise funds for victims, raise awareness of this crisis, and reward students, and parents, and others, who help expose teacher predators. Students and parents should be empowered to Take Back the Classroom!

The fact that so many American scientific, and scholarly organizations and state agencies have sought to attach themselves or accredit their schools and students under the now famous NAAS is direct evidence of the high regard for the superior integrity, high standards, and the superior ethics, associated with the National Academy of American Scholars brand.

In April of 1988, in Claremont, California, on the campus of the Claremont McKenna Colleges, a group of esteemed scholars and graduates from some of the most prestigious unversities in America assembled privately without much fanfare. No announcement of their meeting or intentions was provided to administrators to any of the five private colleges that call the Claremont College campus their home.

The purpose of the meeting from the distinguished group of scholars was to assess the state of financial affairs regarding the difficulty of finding financial aid for talented and ambitious students who were being denied aid because of social, ethnic, and/or financial status. At the time, Ronald Wilson Reagan was the 40th President of the United States, and his policies of opposing quotas was very well known.

The assembled group of scholars included graduates from Harvard, Yale University, Chicago University, and Purdue University, as well as the eventual founder of National Academy of American Scholars. The group of talented and educated scholar debated the politics of the time, and discussed various forms of financial-aid, and how talented students were being denied aid while tuition was steadily increasing.

At the time, very few legitimate and pure merit-based scholarships existed. Many forms of financial-aid was tied to a specific major, a specific college or university. The typical scholarships had many strings and conditions attached such that the most capable of students were routinely prevented from even applying.
